Owner and Lead Photographer

Doug is the owner and lead photographer, with a unique journey that blends a love for creativity and technology. His passion for documenting life started early, when he began volunteering on the production team at his local church as a child. What began with curiosity quickly grew into leadership – running sound boards and supporting large-scale productions, eventually leading him to a career traveling across the country as a technical director for small and large corporate events.
In 2011, Doug decided to explore photography more seriously. By 2015, he was working steadily with advertising clients, specializing in product photography that required technical precision and advanced lighting techniques.
His focus shifted toward dance photography thanks to his daughter, Samantha, a dedicated dancer. Experiencing picture day as a parent, Doug realized he could create a more relaxed, enjoyable, and professional experience – combining his expertise in product photography with his background in audio-visual production. The positive response from dance schools, parents, and dancers confirmed he was onto something special.
With his calm demeanor, patience, and technical skill, Doug built a reputation for delivering high-quality images and stress-free picture days. He soon assembled a small, trusted team of family and friends to help bring his vision to life. His wife, Jen, a local early childhood educator of nearly 20 years, joined to help support and grow the family business.
Today, Doug and his team remain fully dedicated to creating an outstanding experience for every school and family they serve. Beyond picture day, they continue to give back, volunteering their time and talents to local churches and nonprofit groups.
