Amazing dance recital picture day photography doesn’t always come easy. However, I take the pain out of it and provide an awesome experience that so many studio owners and parents LOVE.
As a dance parent, I have experienced many picture days. As an already experienced and published photographer, I dove in head first in 2018 to come up with a process and style that greatly simplifies dance picture days.
Our results and feedback have been amazing and I love every second of it.
We are based out in the northwest suburbs of Chicago Illinois. We serve our immediate area and are well adept to traveling!

The photographer that you hire for your picture day is an extension of you and your studio. You need a well mannered photographer and crew with a great attitude and process to represent your studio and that is exactly what we do.
We provide a quick and positive service to every parent. The last thing you want to hear is a parent upset about dealings with a photographer that you hired.

All photos are processed and uploaded in 14 days or less!
Our process is our ticket to speed and efficiency. All photos are ready to be viewed with-in 14 days of picture day. Yes, that is fast. That doesn’t mean we cut corners to accomplish that either.
We use top of the line equipment and lighting techniques that allow us to quickly process the photos so they can be viewed quickly. Photos with closed eyes are filtered out and composition is edited on every photo, in-house, which means there are no privacy issues.

You won’t regret it! With our modern solid white or black sets, the photos won’t go out of style or ever look dated. We are very flexible and accommodating to each studio we partner with and end up making friends along the way. We are’t just looking to come in for picture day and then leave you until next year, we are always willing to help you out within our skill set!

What our picture day looks like
All pre-orders, orders and viewing is done online through our online proofing system. Our system works great on computers and smartphones.
Before picture day we provide a custom postcard to be distributed to your parents. We also drop off a sign to display in your lobby. We do this to gather the parent/student info which is a large part of a smooth picture day. If you are able to provide us with the needed information, we won’t need to worry about the sign or postcards.
On picture day, dancers will be able to see our big posing banners which helps with some last minute confidence and inspiration. This greatly improves picture day speed. We are able to photograph any/all dancers in any order. Typically a dance school staff member does posing however we can help with posing as well. We have a large screen at the set which quickly shows the images taken which helps to nail poses. The screen is always a favorite for dancers and staff.
After picture day, photos begin being processed immediately. We work quickly to review every image and many any adjustments needed. Within 14 days or less, all photos will be uploaded. Promptly following the gallery upload, we send out the information to parents with details on how to get into their private galleries.
Group and Individual
We typically start with each group photo first and then move onto individual photos. A group of this size typically takes 15 minutes. We understand sometimes a dancer is running behind so there are times when we start with individuals and then end with the group. We are flexible and go with the flow!
